Someone named Luke e-mailed me and confirmed the location of the footage from the second tape. The buildings are part of what used to be known as the Belchertown State School for the Feeble-Minded. It was an asylum for children with mental illnesses. It was shut down in 1992 due to disgusting conditions, overpopulation and mistreatment of patients. This is creepy stuff. It's not far from where I live either. Is this where the doctor who lived in my house worked?

they spoke of a law suit, thats public record. check it out
ReplyDeleteI know I'm late to the party, but man, 1992 is a really late year for the closing of a place like this. Most closed in the 1980's. It's a very Reagan-esque thing.
